It’s hard to believe that two years ago, Jesse Csincsak proposed to Bachelorette Pappas on the finale of the show, and now both couples are engaged — to other people, all thanks to the ABC reality hit!
“This time it was on my terms,” Jesse — whose fianceé Ann Lueders, 28, was a contestant on the 13th season of The Bachelor featuring Jason Mesnick, and also his date to Jason and Molly’s nuptials in March — tells OK!. “There were no producers, no double takes… Just me and my girl.”
Jesse surprised his soon-to-be-wife with a trip on a private plane to his hometown of Amherst, Ohio and then to as island near Lake Erie where he popped the question.
Not being a stranger to the cameras, Jesse, 28, had the proposal filmed: “I wanted to have a camera crew there so one day my children could watch their mom and dad in the very beginning.”
News of their engagement comes the same week his ex-fiancee Pappas, 28, announces her engagement to Stephen Stagliano, 26, whom she met at a Bachelorette taping a year ago.
But is there any bad blood between the Bachelorette and her former suitor?
“Jesse and I are not friends,” Pappas tells OK! “And never will be.”
Jesse had kinder words for Pappas and Stephen (his identical twin brother, Michael, is engaged to Jesse’s ex-girlfriend, Holly Durst, 27).
“I wish them nothing but the best,” Jesse tells OK!.
A source close to the couple adds the bride-and-groom-to-be will be getting married at Rumor Hotel in Las Vegas, which is where they will have a “big” co-bachelor and bachelorette party hosted by Jason Mesnick.
