Ashley Spivey has the perfect word for “The Bachelorette” season 7 reject  Ames Brown – adorkable! Ashley, who appeared on Brad Womack’s second season of “The Bachelor,” used the word during Tuesday’s episode of “The Bachelorette Beatdown” to describe how attractive she thinks the 31-year-old New Yorker is.

“I think his nerdy-ness is really endearing … he’s himself, and that, to me, is really attractive,” Ashley said.
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW:Was ‘Bachelorette” alumni Jesse Csincsak the true creator of ‘Bachelor Pad’?
And while it took time for Ames to grow on all of us, Ashley wasn’t the only one feeling Ames while watching Monday’s episode. Natalie Getz was hot and bothered by Ames’ “philosophical side,” while Craig Robinson and David Good said he seemed like a nice guy they’d love to hang out with.

Of course, not everyone can be a fan of Ames, especially after a hometown date that was nothing like we’ve ever seen before. Viewers are used to seeing hometown dates like Constantine’s – took Ashley to his family’s restaurant, where he works – or J.P.’s – took Ashley to his local roller skating rink; viewers aren’t used to seeing small castles with gigantic indoor pools and seeing the pairs go for picnics under storybook Magnolia trees before taking fairytale carriage rides. It was all very romantic and dreamy, but it was out of left field for “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” viewers, and you could tell it wasn’t the life for bachelorette Ashley Hebert.

‘Bachelorette’ insider Jesse Csincsak not surprised Ames Brown didn’t receive a rose after hometown date

“I don’t think that Ashley truly had any chemistry with him – you could see it, he wasn’t really her type,” Trista Sutter, the first star of “The Bachelorette” said. “ People have always had boyfriends – or at least I have – guys that I talked myself into dating because they were just really nice guys and maybe intelligent and probably somebody I did wanna take home to mom and dad, and I think that was the type of guy Ames was for Ashley.”
