Gun control is a hot debate these days. Jesse Csincsak may be a reality star, but he is also known as an outspoken gun rights activist. He is being considered to host an upcoming documentary on this highly emotional subject in America. The film is called “Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire” and Jesse explained the aspects of this new production in an exclusive email on Jan. 30.
This film is being directed by Emmy award winning documentarian Kris Koenig. He is also the founder of Dead Patriot Films, which has been set up to complete documentaries on gun issues. Koenig believes in civil rights, and the right to bear arms certainly falls into that category. This project will compare the historical aspects of gun control in our country through the years that has led up to the controversy today that is threatening the rights of the Second Amendment. The original intent of the current gun laws are critiqued and then compared to the laws currently proposed by the President and various states. Koenig promises to take a balanced look at the realities of gun control and how this issue has divided our nation.
“What I hope to do is to present a large dose of common sense, facts and logic to the subject matter, just like a science documentary,” he explains on the official site. “Science is a presentation of arguments, theories and facts to build the various models explaining the universe. I plan to present the models of gun control against the reality of life in America where the Second Amendment is alive and supported by a vast majority of Americans.”
This is a great way to educate yourself and the people around you about the importance of the Second Amendment.
Jesse Csincsak, season four winner of “The Bachelorette,” is also passionate about gun rights in America. The husband and father-of-one believes in the right to protect his family, if necessary. He would be a great choice to host this special documentary. Jesse also had a guest appearance, along with his wife Ann, on the now canceled Discovery Channel series, “American Guns.”
Dead Patriot Films is still looking for funding to finish their project. For more information on how you can help, visit their official website.
