Well here we are again for another season of ABC’s The Bachelorette.
I am here once again doing an exclusive blog for thebachelor.tv with my BEHIND THE SCENES INSIDER OPINIONS, not facts, just opinions about what I saw on last night’s show. These are simply opinions from my experiences on the show…
With that being said here we go –
Ashley Hebert Bachelorette Season 7, Week 1
I am really glad ABC chose Ashley as the Bachelorette. Although young, I think Ashley is the total package and I think she will make an amazing Bachelorette. She will be an amazing catch for any guy serious about falling in love and settling down.
Ashley said tonight that her insecurities and her failure to reciprocate love to Brad Womack was the reason she was sent home on Season 15 of the Bachelor.
Well, now she is back and seems ready to put her insecurities aside. She’s also ready to reciprocate the feelings of love if she can find the right guy.
Out of Ashley’s 25 guys, many of them are older than Ashley, which I think is a positive thing. Ashley is very career focused and independent– she will need a guy who is the same for it to really work.
Before I give you my top choices for grade A rejects, let me just say that on night one the show starts filming at around 8pm and films until around 5 – 6am. Falling asleep isn’t impossible…
Now lets start off with my new favorite hater. Straight off of The Sopranos is TIM, the 35 year old (hiccupping alcoholic with the worst accent ever) liquor distributor from NYC. This guy might have had the most awkward limo exit I have ever seen! At first I kind of felt sorry for him! Then, as I watched him get sloppier and sloppier my feelings of sorrow disappeared! He proceeded to hate on the 35 year old masked man named Jeff just before passing out and getting sent home… WOW Good luck getting a date in the future bro! Every girl you ever thought of dating is already over you!
Jeff “the masked man” might have had on a mask but seemed to be one of the more mature men in the room. Although he had more haters in the room than anyone he kept his composure and continued to impress Ashley with his explanation of why he wore the mask. I don’t know about you but I am pumped to see how he plays out once he loses the mask. Not a bad angle to roll with.
Up until tonight the JERK-O-METER had been set at an all time high by Justin Rego on Bachelorette Season 6. Well, Justin Rego can step aside, there is a new king JERK in town: BENTLEY! Wow, even a weird name! Well done buddy! Who goes on the show and says the Bachelorette doesn’t fit into his checklist? You did, Not the smartest idea you have ever had, There are 15 million people watching this and I have a feeling after this season is over it’s going to be years until you get a date again.
Here are a few of the standouts from last night’s episode in my opinion:
West – The 30 year old lawyer from Chapin, South Carolina who lost his wife a few years back. He’s a lawyer which tells me he put a few years of school in so he will be understanding about Ashley’s career focus. I think they could be a cute couple.
Ryan P – Yes, the 31-year-old guy who got the first impression rose! He’s from Del Mar, California and is also a career focused man. I mean, he has 600 Employees who work under him! I am impressed, aren’t you?
Matt – 28 years old and the office supply salesman from Bridgewater, MA. This guy seems to have a good sense of humor and his mom is hilarious giving the advice to “USE PROTECTION if you go to the fantasy suite.” Let’s be honest, when you marry someone you marry his or her family so the fact that his mom is awesome is a huge plus!
Nick – 26 years old. The Personal Trainer from FL. This guy wrote a poem for her, memorized it and read it to her. That to me is impressive. In my opinion it shows effort and I like that.
William – 30 years old, cell phone salesman from Columbus, Ohio. My stomping grounds! I think the key to a woman’s heart is laughter and this guy knows how to make Ashley laugh. He also claims that every time he breaks up with a girl they get married. I think it’s his turn for a real shot! His Impressions are pretty funny too…
As for the rest of the guys I am really pumped to get to know them in the weeks to come. I think there are a handful of guys who are there for the right reasons.
As for this season, it looks to be an awesome one! Private jets, Thailand, kickboxing, Fiji and of course the man claws are going to come out!
Tune in again next week at the same place and same time for my behind the scenes opinions on season 7 of ABC’s The Bachelorette.
